The Bare Naked Ladies, we meet again. Since my last bad experience trying to listen to some old songs by The Bare Naked Ladies- I decided to team up with one of my girlfriends who still enjoys the band very much and listen to a few of her CDs.  I have to say, while listening to the music; I started to recall why I once did really enjoy the band and their catchy songs.

To this day, I think that ‘If I had a million dollars’ is my favorite song by them. It has a good rhythm I feel and is a fun song to listen to. I don’t know every word to the song- like my addicted friend, but of all of the songs we listen to, I did still enjoy this one the most.

All of this music made me wonder at last- what happened to the band anyway? My friend- of course, knew all of the details and filled me in. Apparently, the singer of the Bare Naked Ladies was arrested on drug charges sometime in the year of 2008. Only a few months after the arrest, he left the band. So, basically no singer- no band. Steven Page- the lead singer was caught in the possession of cocaine, along with his roommate and girlfriend. They were let off with a promise of staying out of trouble for the upcoming 6 months. Steven wished the band well, said they were like his brothers and then moved on, not heard of within the music business thus far.
